I was born in a time when I never had to use a film camera out of necessity, everyone was already shooting cheap digital point-and-shoots when I was born. Growing up, I never took photos. Not with a digital camera, or my phone. Not even on vacations or anything. When people asked why, I always answered the same thing: when I want to take a photograph, usually it's because the scene before me has a vibe that I want to capture, but when I take the picture, that very vibe I took the picture for is missing.
Then I discovered film and it all went from there.
I don't see photography as a potential source of income, as I really love film and don't like the look of digital, but in this age, you can't compete with other photographers if you shoot analog. I'll just keep it as a nice hobby.
