Again I wanted to go for a candid look. Due to the lack of a telephoto lens though, I had to get close, and at that point I wanted to ask for consent because people in my city are rarely okay with you taking photos of them.
But then the guy obviously tensed up a little and his face and posture wasn't as natural and relaxed as before. So I had the idea of making him laugh with a joke, and I think it kinda worked.
