You CAN play with contrast but i would try just crushing the blacks first. There’s no atmosphere to scatter light so the shadows are MUCH darker. You only get light bounced off the ground, and the ground is very dark.
For that same reason you would want to shoot in direct sunlight on the clearest sky possible - you want a clear distinction between the light and dark sides.
I’ll include a picture of, funnily enough, a rover (monash nova rover) I saw a university team testing a few weeks back, next to a lake. I didn’t try to recreate any look, but I think I accidentally got close to what you’re after.
