I also have a Skywatcher 130pds and a cooled CCD (Atik 314l+) that I use to photograph galaxies and nebulae but I didn't have access to a power outlet from the place I was observing from so that's why I used my phone. I need an outlet for my laptop that controls everything.

Dobson mounts are great. I made my own a couple of months ago for visual observations and I'm loving it. It takes forever to assemble and polar align the GOTO mount and it's a pain to transport so it's very convenient to have something that's quick and easy to setup if I wanna take quick look at some planet or something.
