>>3357705You would certainly be able to make the first one in the city. Key is to up the ISO so the sensor will be able to catch enough light from this fast burst. Rest is to balance it out with the ambient, if you have heavy light polution, then ETTR technique might help. You also have to be lucky enough to have a storm (these are few times a year where I live). Pic related is my last attempt at it, I did ~90 10 s exposures and got maybe 4 good pictures, this one being the best.
Milky way is another story, that's where you have to have low light polution and good location. I don't have anything to be proud of here.
