My camera strap. The cord is nylon paracord. I used some of the paracord inner strand to sewn eye splice the anchor links to the ends. I did a sewn splice rather than just tying a knot because I wanted as low profile a strap as possible - with the added benefit that the sewn splice is stronger than a knot. I have an extra anchor attached to one end so I can quickly go from wearing the camera around my neck to wrist strap mode - where I prefer to only be connected to one side of the camera. Some marine shrink tube covers the sewn splice, I was going to shrink it after a trial period but haven't gotten around to it yet.
