120 peaks at around the level of 24mp to 36mp, so not much more than a $500 35mm DSLR. not only that but if your your film sits for a short while in a camera with this style of film back, the next shot will have a crease in the film (due to the backing paper, so if you shoot 120 it won't happen so often) that causes a strip of missed focus if you shoot at a wide aperture.
