>>4354930I own the Sigma 30mm f1.4 Art and take their advice, it's just objectively a bad investment. It looks cool, feels solid and I love the 30mm on an APS-C... BUT your average zoom outperforms the lens optically. Get the 40mm f2.8 pancake if you want to cheap out and still get a better lens, or get the Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art which is superior. You shouldn't buy APS-C lenses if you're likely going to upgrade to FF.
And to your actual question, I'm pretty sure R6 recognizes the APS-C lens and switches automatically to a cropped mode.
