>>4155910I don't know enough about editing to name it but this is an issue I have with digital and scenes with bright light. The way highlights blow out on digital just looks so harsh and plasticy. Like what's going on with the writing on the toothpaste on the right? Why are the colors of the floss packaging all washed out? In night scenes you see it often that film will retain the color of the lights but on digital they turn white.
Even when film is blown out I don't feel bothered by it because it still looks pleasant when on digital it just hurts my eyes and I would avoid it at all costs.
