>>3966509It seems like it would be much more efficient to have one dedicated place with a backdrop and a couple of soft boxes where you can reproducibly punch out dozens of articles of clothing in one go regardless of the weather or time of day. Going next to a window and hoping the conditions are just right just doesn't scale very well.
This is a general problem with gear threads on /p/. People decide they want a new camera or other piece of gear before they talk about what exact goal they're trying to accomplish. If the goal is rather to give a more luxurious and aesthetic experience when shooting (which is a perfectly valid goal, especially since that's a big part of the product she's selling, it sets the tone for the whole business), I wouldn't bother with a budget compact like the ZS60K, I would jump straight to a Fujifilm X100V. 35mm equivalent seems reasonable for clothing photography, and it's close focusing enough to photograph most accessories too.
But whatever the real goal is you're trying to accomplish, make sure you really zero in on it and get something that goes all the way, don't get something that only half asses it, or worse, is oriented towards a completely different one. For example the main point of the ZS60K is having a massive superzoom lens in a tiny package, but that's not relevant for product photography. She wouldn't be using any feature in that camera that her phone can't already do, and probably even do better since it doesn't have any of the inherent compromises of a superzoom lens.
