A dumb adapter and a macro lens for whatever your film camera's mount is will likely be a lot cheaper and serve a dual purpose.
The reason to avoid the cheaper M43 30mm macros etc is that they aren't really that sharp, for one, they all rely on software correction of abberations rather than just being decent lenses, and they don't give you enough working distance when scanning (ie camera will be too close to the film, pain in the ass).
Total e-waste, definitely avoid.
