Can I get redpilled on Teleconverters? I know they remove a stop of light and make AF work worse, but I can get something like this cheap. I feel limited ATM by my focal length and would like a extra 100mm if I could. I missed out on a Sigma 150-500mm HSM OS Pentax Fit lens for $300 cuz I was flaking, it sold in a day.
Right now I'm shooting with the 55-300mm DA-L SMC and a 70-300mm Sigma/Promaster from the 90s that's actually decent other than bad purple fringing and being soft at max length. My pics are in the Pentax thread, I'm probably the only guy using a KF on this board.
