besides, you can do much more with 50mm than just close up, detail and macro... pic related is a landscape shot with a 50mm, although i prefer telephoto for landscape, even more than wide lenses, so 50mm is kinda crap for me, i never get the image and framing i want... id much prefer if i had a 135 or 300mm or even a 70-200 at 200mm...
