everyone is allowed to believe what they want and take pictures the way they want and criticize they want
I'm just wondering. I get that you may like these bands, maybe you're friends with some of them. you're a good photographer, I've seen your work before and I like it. I think you had that one of some dude getting rained on or something?
my question is: is the point of these concert pictures to showcase the fact that you brought your camera to a show and these are the photos you got? in the most organic way possible?
it confuses me
I like taking pictures of punk bands because it's fun. I like the results I get, I like seeing bands, I like seeing bands like the results I get. I'm ignoring all the professional work I've done/do for the point here and my point.
I always see other photographers at shows and sometimes their photos are shit but they're still enjoying it and the bands still enjoy having their photo taken whether they're good or not
actually the last part is a lie, some people hate photographers. in high school I shot taking back sunday and the vocalist smacked the camera I was borrowing and it scarred me a little bit. and I've had some angry punks in the crowd at my flash but fuck em
