>>4201485Movie stock isn’t the finest stuff. It has random grain. But yeah I wouldn’t put Ektar 100 on its best day over 25 ish megapixels. I don’t care. I love fine grained films and wish we had more of them but image resolution isn’t the only marker of quality for image taking and camera experience. I like the experience of old digishits too. Also like a big full frame camera like that canon is probably mostly doing in studio lighting stuff and would probably be more on par with what 4x5 and medium format used to do before digital.
