>>3445448In post it just translates into more noise. The 5dm3 has no manual exposure mode and I've fiddled around with the 1300d with not much success. So, I just leave it on auto. But you're right when it comes to backlighting and such. In my defense the only hard lighting condition I'm worried about is shade. And no amount of post processing or exposure comp will help there. I can't minimise the noise with the 1300D as much as I would like.
