It's okay glass. Plenty sharp in center and cheap. But pretty unspectacular if you take out price. Sony also isn't really stellar in anything. It's lead over competition is thin, and basicially in af only, since all other competitors has better ibis, comparable dynamic range and even better video modes.
But really, brandfagging is stupid, people who say sony has anything head and shoulders above other brands suck sony dick balls deep and you can take great pictures with any camera made in last 15 years.
