1. Background is very messy - the twigs, leaves, etc don't lend a good background in this photo
2. The background on top of that is too in focus/not blurred enough
3. Subject is weirdly focused. The white parts being out of focus or really soft looking with the yellow just makes it hard to focus on any one thing.
The background is probably as important with flower photos than the actual subject. Try shooting at odd angles like looking up at the sky with it and shit.
So really it's a hard to look at image.
