Some of his new stuff is decent, but I also think he is trying to be different. He obviously isn't shooting medium format film with a rangefinder and a flash anymore. He looks to be using bog standard DSLRs, which is always going to give you a different image. He is never going to make photos that looked like the ones he did because the world he shoots and the medium he uses are different now.
