I still use my D3s, it's a great camera but the files SOOC aren't very good. Not very practical for lugging around but I have used it as a vacation camera in the past.

Sweet! Well basically :
I want to make the jump to full frame with this one because ruggedness, Nikon lenses, body aesthetic etc. Is it still worth it in 2017 to buy this, and also even though I want FF and Nikon lenses is my a6000 going to be better at most things?

is it worth it to upgrade from a D3 to a D3s for:
1 stop better noise performance
2x larger buffer
720p video
ultrasonic sensor cleaner
live-view button
auto active D-lighting
or should I just save up for a more recent camera like a D810 / D4?
