just learn to edit in lr

mastin labs presets or even vsco film presets is a good start to get that film look. study those presets and then make your own the way you like.

if you are trying to mimic decade expired film, ok i guess. that's just not what film looks like though.

this is my worst lens (tokina 28mm f2.8) with the cheapest film (superia 400) from a broken camera from the 1960's (srt101)

Okay, maybe I went too far with the noise
I think I succeeded in making it look really old though
Keep in mind I'm just a dumb zoomer who's never even used a film camera before

don't just yank sliders, find a film you like, look at lots of example in different conditions and start trying to copy. shoot a place you know on film then try to recreate on digital

the "film hipster look" that is popular today is the result of an underexposed film with shit tons of grain and light leaks everywhere.
i'd say you're quite close, but drop the shadows a little bit.
also keep in mind the context of what/where are you shooting.
your picture is taken outside on a sunny day, yet it looks underexposed as fuck, that just screams cheap ass filter.

with current postprocessing options it's not really that hard to replicate it. It won't be 100% same but once you get into it you can get pretty close.

Pretty easy actually. Use an old manual-lens that has a bit of refractive error, then post-process a grain filter over the top.
