Here are some pictures I took on a recent trip to Taiwan. I would like to learn to take better pictures!

I have a 1960s Kiev-4 camera I have been using for a year, and I try to think carefully about the pictures I take, but its all just me making stuff up as I go, I dont really know what I'm doing. My main problem right now is a lot of my pictures feel like "holiday snaps" if you know what I mean - a bit superficial in content.

Can you give me some pointers or direct me to some resources you think will help me improve?
