What I'm doing anon, is helping you understand a camera like how a mechanic understands a car. Getting you to know every part fundamentally until you get it. I don't know the complexity of it, but understanding how it all works in simplistic terms is easy.
Here is where all of this info is handy.
How to make a painting: Find paint and a brush and make marks on paper. Paper is made from a compound of elements and paint is too.
How to make a photo: Find where light waves are propagating the most and engineer a device or buy one that exposes itself to those light waves where they propagate. All possible due to em fields existing, having an effect, and being released from atoms.
You are essentially knowing how a camera works. Things will start making sense to you like why is it that I can't take photos at night despite the ISO? Reason: camera isn't light sensitive enough to do that. Why doesn't what I see match what I photograph? Reason: The camera is made of different materials and components than your eye and captures light differently from how your eye does it.
When you understand these things, it makes sense why your camera acts the way it does.
You aren't randomly taking magically appearing photos. You are finding light waves that interact with your surroundings and recording them as an image through the intricate nature of the engineering of your camera.
Sounds schizoid, but imagine had I been passionate about cars or even computers trying to explain it like this.
