the major symptom which killed Nooj was everyone deciding they had to wrestle in one style. If you're hebbyQ you wrestle like Okada, and, to a lesser extent, if you're a junior, you wrestle like Hiromu. It's that fucking clip of Cobb and Owens doing the slow-mo "finisher reversal spam" sequence that was like, fucking alright, knock it off. Cobb Owens should be 8 minutes, Owens being a chickenshit, Cobb finally gets him, throws him around, go to the finish. It didn't need to be 22 minutes of every spot they could think of.
I feel like they're just getting back to wrestlers having different feelings in the ring, which is absolutely integral. It's a big reason I like HoT so much; at least it's different.
