John. "You want me to poison the fish?"
"Clearly."
"Miss, I don't get why you'd want me to do something like that but uhh," he pauses for a moment, and hungrily looks Cassie over from head to toe, "maybe you could make it worth my while... y-you know, if you could like... convince me."
Cassie smiles, and slowly uncrosses then crosses her legs in front of the young man. His pulse races. "I can be very convincing," she says.
John's eyes widen and he bites a lip, takes a step forward and tries to get the mixture of nerves and excitement that he's feeling out of his voice as he speaks. "H-how convincing are we talking here, babe?"
Cassie nods toward one of the bouncers and John's blood runs cold as he feels a gun pressed against the back of his neck.
"If I'm not hearing news about all the fish in that tank being dead tomorrow my friend here is gonna pay your family a visit. Is that convincing enough?" Cassie asks.
"Y-yes."
With a dismissive flick of a hand, Cassie dismisses the man, and the bouncers drag him out of her office.
After they leave, she grabs her phone and looks at the photo of Sola smiling in front of the aquarium. "Poor sweet girl," Cassie whispers, "Just what will I take from you next?"
