They debuted on TV as brand new guys and 99.9999999% of wrestling fans had never seen them before. Batista was in his fucking 30s before anyone even put the idea in his head that he could be a wrestler. Nepo baby Bron's time in wrestling school lasted *years* and it was all televised, he worked WrestleMania weekends as a featured wrestling school student. This is also the internet age where anyone can look up any 23 year old NXT signee on socisl media or Wikipedia and read exactly how bland and blah and uninteresting their nothing of a life has been, shattering any potential character or mystique that could be organically built on tv for them and taken seriously. Nobody's out doing any kind of real life shit for years before they get into wrestling anymore, they're just boring clueless charisma-less college kids who one way or another got recruited to the PC and decided to take the job offee after they got their fake "Physical Therapy" degree from a college their firmly middle-class parents paid out of state tuition for them to get drunk at and ride the bench on some dimeless sports team for a few years.
All of that hurts wrestlers and wrestling immensely, whether you're able to recognize or admit that or not.
