For those of you who don’t know Kenny was obsessed with AEW being a “variety show”. He went on multiple shows promoting the style. the quote from him went like

The problem is he was wrong. AEW suffers from an identity crisis. It steals from every promotion ever existed. Nothing is original . It’s a jack of all trades and a master of none. You can’t please everyone Kenny.
It’s why the psychology of the variety show never ever works. The outlaw backyard stunt show will always outshine the good promos and in ring grappling. All people will remember is the shock of sawdusting over a good honest to god worked pro wrestling match.
