Give Jade one more title defense and see where things are. If it's short, pull the trigger at the next PPV.
Medium length: Have someone win the belt in a multi-man gimmick match where Jade doesn't have to take a fall and then have her roll through the division until Kris finally beats her in #1 contender's match or some shit. Someone else gets made, you can keep Jade strong and you can kind of follow through on what you originally want with Kris.
If it's another major one, you just got to move on and give someone else the rub.
