So I love it when it's done right. Referee discretion makes perfect sense with this style of booking and it's sort of been adopted into the fabric of puro as a whole. The referee takes on somewhat of a sumo judge's role as well, encouraging the fighters to fight hard and keep their fighting spirit up. So if a guy gets killed with a bump and rolls outside to recover, it builds tension as long as it's in a well-built finale of a match where flexibility from the official is warranted.
