there was a season of tough enough in 2004 that wasn't it's own show, but a series of segments on smackdown for a few months.
it was the season the miz started in wwe on, actually.
one of the segments was kurt angle challenging the rookies to an amateur wrestling match. he pinned a couple of the big rookies real quick, then this happened.

people were debating that puder would have "won" if it was a shoot fight, since no pins in the ufc. wwe mad that puder did that, since it would be showing angle up and making him look like a chump. when the segment was designed to make all the rookies look like chumps.
puder went on to win the entire competition and a wwe contract. one of his first wwe matches was that royal rumble. he came in the ring with benoit and guerrero and they really laid into him hard as a hazing. then hardcore holly came in and they keep beating him up. they throw him out after pretty much shoot squashing him.
