Currently, I live as a virtual extreme recluse NEET, with weekdays free to nap and indulge in personal activities in my washitsu.
I have no choice but to live as the Diogenes of Puwota.
I watched the SPARK shows. Or at least the parts I cared about. It was passable. The bookers did a decent job with matchmaking. The best match was Maya vs. Adora (***3/4~****), followed by Ram vs. Brookside (***1/4). Adora and King were impressive. They are big, yet dexterous and stable. Adora, who had a good match with Miu earlier in the year, was particularly aggressive in fighting for the initiative, which probably forced Maya to respond in kind. Amazing how easily Miu lifted the 185 cm, 75 kg King and performed a giant swing, which she hasn't used in Japan for quite some time. The main event between Maya and SAKI on the Florida show was solid; it was mostly a standard match with no depth/interesting dynamics. The Japanese-Foreigner matchups were the most intriguing, from a stylistic perspective and simply because it was interesting to see how the matches would play out. Maya vs. Adora turned out to be particularly good.
