So instead it takes him years to work up the courage to show his face in a wrestling ring again and Vince won't even take him back so he goes to AEW and it's not nearly the big deal it would have been had he never tried to fight IRL.
Never will there be another fall from grace of such magnitude in wrestling ever again. In 2011 he was the hottest thing going in the industry and the center of the most captivating storyline in years. By the time he left a few years later he was still massively popular. But that wasn't good enough for the walking dead enthatheist. He had to go and fuck it all up because he wanted just a little bit more.
