Does he have a new theme in AEW? I read a joke that it was the same music, he just changed the lyrics to they/them to be more inclusive.

Cena's music was produced in house by WWE Music, so no. Metalingus was recorded by Alter Bridge who are, for all intents and purposes, a real band and not just guys on Vince's payroll, who is probably too petty to ever license his music.

Just by googling, you can see it was produced by Jim Johnston. That's a dead giveaway that it was produced in-house, and thus probably difficult to lisence.

I've never actually seen one of his matches because I don't watch WWE but hopefully he's like Christian Cage and has incredibly mic skill plus in-ring talent.

I know Cage spent some time in TNA / Impact where he got to unlearn the WWE """""""style"""""""""" of wrestling.

Also, that pop on his debut was pretty great.

I was more of a WCW / NWA guy and gave WWF a chance when they bought all their competition. But I couldn't stand the short matches, endless McMahon family promos, and them burying all the people I liked, so I quit watching until TNA started up.
