Taz makes Excalibur tolerable. I don't like Tony Schiavone on commentary. Kevin Kelly & Nigel are funny because they don't actually know what they're doing, Kevin doesn't know anything about AEW and Nigel has so much CTE he thinks he's still in WWE so he keeps calling wrestlers superstars.
The WWE guys are all annoying but Booker T is the worst. All the English puro commentators are bad and I don't know who the commentators are in Impact so I guess Excalibur and Taz are the best by default

Reminds me of wrestling announcers and interviewers these days. None of them have any prestige or bass in their voices. And it's not like slick sounding announcers aren't out there; it's just everybody's nepo/crony-hiring these days, so the undiscovered good ones don't get hired.

I have literally never seen someone kill the show like him, ever. We have seen a lot of insanely bad commentators across the years, Booker T where you don't even know what the fuck he is on about, and he has that laugh. Otunga and Coach were cancer to listen to, but at least none of these people actively RUIN wrestling like Excalibur does. He is easily THE worst commentator ever, no contest.

Your retardation is incredible. Excalibur was proven to carry dynamite commentary. There were a few weeks where they took him off TV, because some clickbait "wrestling news" site found him and Kevin Owens saying "nigger" in PWG. (Though for some reason, they didn't focus on Owens' part even though he was by-far the higher profile star.) Anyway, the commentary was enormously worse without him, and both JR and Schiavone were exposed as utter has-beens.

it's cause the 2 of them have an actual rapport with each other, everytime Excalibur commentates with JR or Schiavone he has to do all the Heavy lifting cause JR is way past it and Schiavone will basically just repeat back stuff other commentators say the whole time, so people get annoyed at Excalibur cause he ends up having to do the play by play and the colour and preview the cards and try to give backstory on wrestlers and he's constantly talking a million miles an hour, when it's him and tazz the 2 of them can have an actual back and forth and Excalibur can stick to play by play and fed Taz set ups and Taz can crack jokes and do the colour, it helps that the 2 seem to genuinely like each other and working with each other too
