People don't want to hear it, but the only ECW stuff that stand up are mostly the dudleys matches.
Dreamer was and is fucking awful. And their attempts at the indie jr matches with guys like Jerry Lynn weren't as good as what Jrs were doing in japan then and don't stand up to the pace and level of action we see on today's indies.
But a solid heel tag team who mostly does brawls will always be evergreen.

Most of the Benoit/Guerrero matches were kino and so was Mikey whipwreck. Also Raven was a GOAT heel. Im wondering if you even watched any ECW shit

Brother, outside of the cheap heat promos, Dudley Boyz matches were fucking garbage tier.
Literally trashspots, dance spots (I remember Duds vs FBI so clearly), and cheap heat.
Sabu is the real jewel of ECW and every match of his was legit captivating.

Shit take. Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka was one of the best feuds in the history of wrestling simply because of how they were willing to brutalize each other in the ring. Also most people would be in agreement that these wrestlers today blow out anyone in the past in regards to putting on athletic matches. Even the older wrestlers themselves often will admit it. However that isn't what draws dimes and most older wrestlers will also rightfully call themselves better workers because they got people to care about this shit far better than these indie geeks can ever do no matter how many flips and maneuvers they do per match. This ain't up for debate.

ECW remains memorable more for its atmosphere and culture above anything else. It loses a lot of its impact watching it after the fact like would have to be done today. The culture and vibe just isn't there anymore today so you are simply peering into a point in history that is long over. And that is if you watch original recordings and not WWE's censored alternate version of ECW due to music rights issues.

Not at all.
Raven, Taz, Rhyno, Sabu and other dudes were amazing. They had a lot of the best jrs in the world at different points and RVD was one of the best guys in the world at the time. They flew over top Japan guys and RVD mogged a lot of them.
