Gymnastics are only one aspect, it's also about the strength. Stuff like pic related looks mildly impressive on average, but actually knowing what 300lb feels like on your back and seeing someone do this kind of thing gives a new appreciation for it I think.

I think he's fondly remembered by those who saw him in WCW and ECW. His WWF run not so much but that's not really on him, his gimmick was basically a lamer Godfather who also danced. Not sure why they didn't just keep the 2 Cold thing but Vince is Vince.
