as far as the uglies, the funny thing is that i completely thought they'd be discarded and left behind in the very first action after hermione's intro post, so they were all non-characters. even up until the end, i wasn't expecting to have to do anything for samantha, she was as generic as generic could be, but hermione just kept passing rolls, and now she gets to be first on the hitlist for sacrificial lamb :)
also based evelyn enjoyeralso since ugly 3 is the most hated character with two whole votes, she will now be written out of the story entirely

as far as pacing, i genuinely thought we could finish up this thing in 4 weeks if we just really believed in the power of friendship lmao, quite overambitious. i love a good story as much as anyone else, so i don't plan on rushing through the plot, but one other reason for the whole four week thing was that july is looking like it's gonna be an ass month for me. i will, of course, try very my best regardless, even if now i've stacked expectations too uber high by having too many flashes of inspiration!

but nah seriously, meguca royale is too fucking peak, unironically the best fucking literature i've read in years, with soul levels unrivalled by anything, so don't ever beat yourself up. ever.
