Knowing that something could be hiding in the room, you decided to send in someone who was strong, resilient and fearless. After a bit of thinking, you decided Alan would work best. Maybe a flamethrower would be a bit too much in just a single room, but... hey, it could be considered a strong form of 'fumigation'. "Aight chief..." Alan responded after you told him to check the room. He'd keep both hands on his flamethrower, carefully entering the room. After looking around a bit, he'd give a thumbs up. "Area is clear." There was a lot of relief, as you could now safely enter the room. You still had your gun at the ready though, not wanting to be caught off-guard.
As you entered the room, you could finally see what it was. It looked to be some sort of guard post or security office of some kind. The left side of the room had a bunch more lockers, some of which were closed. The open ones seemed to have all sorts of things. Some reserve ammo, spare guardsman outfits, a few radios, a broken stun baton, and even some food items. Though most of the stuff looked dusty, old and of sub-par quality. Not to mention, the food looking... bland and moulding quite badly. On the right side of the room, there was a desk with a computer, more containers, a trash can and a lot of pieces of paper. There was also a single large storage container, in which there seemed to be paper files about the place. The most haunting thing was a calendar which hadn't flipped over to the next month yet, with a date being circled with a red marker... and on that date, it said 'Off-duty family vacation!'. Hopefully, whoever noted that down had left the facility before the shitshow had started...
Regardless, the room wasn't too small, but it certainly wasn't large either. You could maybe fit all your men in it, but... it would be quite cramped to say the least. Perhaps a few of your men should wait outside and be on guard. Besides, you only needed a few men to really check around the room or act as cover in case there was a surprise waiting for you here...
>Discuss with your men. Maybe assign them to check parts of the room or who can come in and who should stay outside.
>Check the paper files. Maybe they'd have some interesting information.
>Check the closed lockers. In case somebody stuffed something bad in there.
>Check the small kitchen area. Someone had clearly used it recently.
>Check your map for info about this room. Maybe it'd tell you more about this specific room?
>Just move on. The room is clearly not that interesting.
>Something else...
