“We beseech you, noble ancestor! Hear our calls and show yourselves to us.”
A nearby skull begins to rise in the air. Wilhelm’s breath stops for a moment, and Jakob hides his shivering hands behind his back. The old man is the first to step fourth.
“Noble ancestor, please forgive our insolence. I haven’t seen you since I was a young man. This here is my son Jakob. And you have already met with Friedrich, my nephew. He told me that he had a strange nightmare. That he heard his name being spoken by a distant voice. He could barely make it out and thought it was just his imagination at first. We… we are sorry for not speaking to you sooner, the old ways are fading, but that’s no excuse for our insolence.”
You answer with the voices of generations past.
“Worry not, scion of house Rabenfels. I have called upon you all to hold council. I want to know everything that has happened, and everything that worries you.”
Wilhelm nods and the meeting commences.
