Because you decided to save <span class="mu-s">Una</span>, she gives you more horn care tips, and helps turn your hairline fracture in your horn completely invisible. You wouldn't call it a reward for saving her, but it is nice.
In the meantime, your former boss the base Administrator thanks you for continuing to work at the fabricator bay. You technically are the same rank as him now, but you're still pretty deferential; after all, you've known him as your superior for quite a while, and he is a lot older. He seems strangely unable to express his gratitude towards saving his life, despite your insistence that it's not that big of a deal.
"Just so you know, Hoik, we finally have a new fabricator set up. It's all powered and ready to go to deal with overhead, but the current schedule has no need of it to fill our projects for the next few days. So you're free to use it for your own personal projects. And it's also not hooked up to the AI network yet either, just you know, not necessary for right now. If you catch my meaning."
<span class="mu-g">"Oh. <span class="mu-i">Oh</span>, well, thank you. Sir."</span>
"No, thank <span class="mu-i">you</span>, Hoik."
The base Administrator is bending the rules significantly here, and taking a great risk in doing so. He's giving you an unrestricted fabricator, not beheld to AI oversight. Your mind swims with the possibilities. Perhaps as a reward for saving him, he's giving you the most precious thing he can offer- a blind eye.
What do you want to make with it?
