Tamako tells them about going to the Marketplace and all the cool stuff within. The Changeling leave anything of her father out of it. She really should think of a backstory. He's a secret agent! Wait, considering where they are that might actually be plausible.
"Wow! I've never been there, but I've heard stories." Maisie says, "It's super dangerous isn't it?"
"I had planned to take my Master there. More because I've never been myself. Dang SHR caught us before we could." The Imp says with a sigh. She starts to erase the person in the picture that Maisie gave her, pretending the drawing is crying out in pain. Grepna giggles to herself while she does.
"So where do you stay in this place? In this room?" Tamako asks.
"We have a separate area with a bunch of beds. It's the one marked, 'Crescent Copse'." Grepna replies.
The Changeling asks the pair if they know what anime is. Maisie doesn't seem to know what it is, but the Imp says, "Ani-may? It sounds familiar but I'm not sure."
Grepna runs out of limbs to remove from the paper person, so starts to erase the head. Tamako describes her Dad's computer screen and the shows contained within, at which point the Imp responds, "Oh yes! I watched over my Master's shoulder all the time."
"Yeah, It is pretty great isn't it?" Tamako says nodding happily, finding a kindred spirit.
"Indeed, so much sin contained within! It aided with his moral degeneration greatly!"
It certainly does regenerate the Changeling to watch some shows, though she isn't sure what "morals" are. Well whatever. Tamako is sort of more interested in something else actually. Maisie doesn't sound like she particularly hates humans, but Grepna seems to lean into it. She's never quite met a fairy like this imp.
"So you don't like humans, but what do you think of fairies that were once human? You know what I mean? Like a werewolf or ghost or vampire. Something that changes a human into a fairy." Tamako asks.
"Why would I hate them? They are fellow fairies. As for them previously being humans? Well, no one is perfect." She giggles.
"So what about the others here? You know much about them?" Tamako asks, looking around at the group. She thinks she recognizes what a few of them might be, but others she is completely clueless. One looks like a cloud of gas with an eyeball, and another looks like an old man despite sounding like a child. The Imp and Maisie give a brief overview of the others.
Grepna even points out who the other permanent residence are, at which point Tamako asks.
"The other kids who stay here all the time, what are they like?"
"They're great! At least the one's I've met. They come and go, and there are a lot of us." The Imp says, "There are even some Changelings, like you!"
What does Tamako do?
