>>6145352“Ha! Shows what you know! This is special strangetech handed to me by Inquisitor Abram himself! With the enchantments on this, once I get a clean shot on you, you’ll die regardless of what your Cheat Skill does!” That is clearly not the case, but whatever, lady.
“So you admit to being nothing but hypocrites?! Well-” You tried your hardest to get back into your little anti-villain groove but are quickly cut off. Why doesn’t anyone ever take you seriously?
“You’d think that, wouldn’t you, demon? Only goes to show how short-sighted your thinking is! Unlike you, who only brings strangetech to corrupt the Inquisition so that you may reveal in hedonistic debauchery, we traditionalists use it for a purpose!” God, you wish you had that much fun in your free time. Can’t say you ever have, though. Hedonistic debauchery sounds to Slaanesh-like for your God Emperor-fearing tastes, “We use strangers and strangetech to eliminate strangers and strangetech! Once we’ve rid ourselves of your like, we’ll retake control of the Inquisition and set it right!” Jesus, this is terrible! Somehow, you’re being out-monologued!
Oh wait, that’s what you were going for. Carry on!
And she does alright, though not much is very parsable between the blind hatred she has for you, the insults, and the comments on your character you get very little. Only things you can tell for certain is that some traditionalists tricked her into getting rid of the Highlander escorts by making it seem she could get rid of you and that those same traditionalists are in league with some strangers or other. If the organization she talks of being a part of, the one with Abram, is, in fact, traditionalist at all, and she wasn’t just lied to. The latter certainly seems more likely, right? Abram’s never seemed to have a problem with you before. Least, you never noticed him having one, so why?
You actually ponder for so long that by the time a furious scotswomen makes it to your position, you don’t even notice her completely knocking the Inquisitor out with a black-armored kick to the head. You only stop the angry woman from beating up the unconscious one when it becomes clear the commotion may damage the roof you are on enough to collapse it. “Oi, you even gonna bother explaining yourself, mate?” Sally says once you finish dragging the Inquisitor to the train stop and tying her up on a nearby post.
