With a once over on previously designed ships we could probably use them instead. But this one was important that it had a specific shape to have a specific name. My methods are beyond question.If we wanted we could strip out some stuff, shield generator, life support, to slap in more speed (though this would cost it handling). Or we could downsize the gun, strip the oversized weapon mount and mount the medium laser cannons instead. This would up it's handling and strain threshold but you'd lose out on the accurate quality (but give it 1 more damage). It also possesses no hyperdrive.
