"Rule's are simple - the challenger may switch, held items are allowed, trainer-used items are barred. The battle is three on three, the challenger must use the pokemon they have trained with this morning." The judge explains. "Any questions?"
You and Daniel are both silent.
"Begin!" The judge pronounces.
"Skwovet, you're in!" Daniel announces.
"Ayumi let's go, Dragon Rage!" You order.
"Fake Out."
Ayumi has no sooner began to glow than Skwovet has darted in and feinted, before sucker punching her, making her flinch and destroying her concentration.
"Let's try that again, Dragon Rage." You order.
"Quick Attack." Daniel orders.
Skwovet tags Ayumi again, before it's engulfed in a purple fireball in retaliation, knocking it clean out.
"Can't go making things too easy for you." Daniel says, before releasing a Jigglypuff in Skwovet's place, recalling the fainted Normal-type.
