The barge was sailing up-stream, powered by tireless arms manning the oars. The Rhodane river, kingdom's vein and fluvial road to the south, was riddled of tomb king's boat and their skeleton crews.
<span class="mu-s"> "Alright lads, same plan. We'll barge into the barge, take control. Once the skeleton are cleansed, we'll split. My squad will get back on the bridge, while Mathias' man the boat to the shore. I'll try taking a second one, and we'll use both of them to dam the river, and continue our road south to prevent tomb king's retreat after pillage. Once we reached the sea, if conflict is still in progress, we're going up north again to continue our cleaning operation."</span>

The plan goes off without a hitch. The few sentient skeletons, unprepared, thinking it was an easy looting operation, in and out, 2 week trips, keep losing boats to the well-organized squadron. A tactical operation force, striking lone cibles in guerilla warfare while the King's army, still close, grouped again with cleaning the trapped bones. Notable contributions among the group : Vaillant helped a lot as a spotter, René proved a reliable second-in-command, filling the spot of Mathias. Hector couldn't help but think the proclamation of Knight so early in Errance did a great job to get him out of his shell. He seems more confident, although still really private about his tastes, past and inspirations, he interacts well with other at campfire. Nicolas Martel destroyed a boat where skeleton numbers where overwhelming, always back on their feets, in an impressive prowess where he dived in armor in the river's shallows to get a good footing and bashed the keel. Tyler shoot down all skeletal crows, the communication devices of the invaders, with once again the help of Vaillant. Allen got the best out of his hounds, happy as puppies can be with so many bones, and Raymond contribution to groundwork on how to efficiently block ships made everybody dived a bit in his world of engineering, closing a bit the gap induced by his peculiarities. Under his cold appearance, Gerade turned out to be a great guy, although apparently crushed under expectations of his bloodline while he feels he's just an under-average man; the main thing holding him down being himself.
Last, in a somewhat expected but still surprising turns of events, Boniface awoke to light magic, defeating a towering amalgamated abomination of bones with a cleansing blast.
At first, dealing with boats was the knight's own initiative, but Gallant messengers - knight mounted on pegasus, which Pauline, Hyetta and Claire were swooning over on sight, sent words of praised and proclaimed regal acknowledgement of the feat-of-arms of the autonomous group responsible for cutting escape to the invaders.
