>>5945196There is a glut of information, too much for a human mind to digest without significant aid, but you are not human. Much of it is from gangers and the law enforcement of the hives, reports of lynchings or hidden deals, and while none of it is direct, and much contradictory, with all the disparate parts at your disposal you can sift through the intelligence and piece it together.
The conclusion is obvious: Psykers. The profiles match your records and what little was spread among the legions before Nuceria. Though the Alpha Legion has comparatively few psykers among its ranks, and officially has never had librarians, you are still aware of their importance, and danger. An untrained psyker can either read a mind or destroy the minds of those around it. You have even heard rumours among agents of The Network that the psykers of the Word Bearers can summon forth strange beasts that obey their commands, though you have never seen verified proof of these claims. Locating psykers on this world is indeed an important discovery. You notice there has also been some talk about an incident of these witches being taken away by unsettling figures wearing ornate armour, but there is frustratingly scant elaboration.
Turning from the report of your agents, you look to the squads you dispatched to directly investigate. It seems that they have reached much the same conclusion as yourself, and what’s more, they have begun identifying and discreetly tagging several individuals who they believe may have latent or hidden powers! So far they have identified several hundred in all, across all hives of the planet. It is a pitiful amount compared to the men the King is granting you, but these will have a value all of their own.

>Order your squads to begin capturing them. Risky, especially if fights break out, but you must have these psykers.>Convince the psykers to come with you. Your men, the Emperor’s Angels of Death will take them to serve in the stars, where they can make use of their abilities freely and without fear.>Talk to the King and ask him for a favour. It won’t risk your men, but you will be relying on mortals to undertake a very delicate operation.>Leave them be. There is a reason the Emperor issued the Edict of Nikaea. You will not dabble in sorcery.>Write in?
