The only way to bring Nina out of her cloth shell is with some proper encouragement. And what is something you recall her wanting? That’s right, the ultimate recipe: the cake! There’s no better apology letter than giving her what she asked you for.
Now there’s a myriad of issues you need to solve before even getting to cook. The ingredients, the kitchen, and the help. You can’t half-ass this! The school is closed by now, so you’ll have to manage everything from zero. All needs to be sorted out before beginning. You’ll go by order. And that leaves you…
“She’s stuck. She doesn’t want to come out.” You lament.
“Did my presence scare her off?” Lydie doesn’t get what happened. “I’m sorry, my dear lady! I didn’t mean to! You’re a precious gem I want to see shine on...” Lydie pets Bagna.
“It’s my fault, I didn’t read the room correctly. I gotta do something special to lure her out...” You think out loud despite arriving at a decision already. “...My solution might be dangerous and costly.”
“Ohohoho! Don’t concern yourself with such trivial matters, my dear treasure. I’ll deal with the costs. Allow me to impress you once again.” Lydie is ready to help.
“Thanks, but I don’t mean it monetarily.” You like her attitude! “I’m baking… the cake.”
“Mhmmf?” Bagna’s attention is peeked.
“Ah! Lure her out with a delicacy? The game you two have going on intrigues me.” Lydie wants to be a part of the roleplay. “But I know better than most that a clever mind observes first then queries away.”
“I have to run to the store and grab the ingredients.” You say. “They’re somewhat specific.”
“Let’s head there then!” Lydie hands over Bagna and pats her back.
Night reigns again in the city as you arrive at the convenience store. This Super Foods has it all! You and Lydie start to fill your basket with all the cake ingredients that you need. As your shopping continues, an unsavory duo of thugs with bad intentions enter with one mission in mind: being a nuisance. The poor clerk is getting harassed. Not being subtle is a statement in of itself.
“Would you look at that? Troublemakers!” Lydie whispers, half-excited for adventure.
Time is of the essence, going to another store wouldn’t be the worst idea, but Lydie doesn’t look like the type of gal who turns a blind eye to a situation like this.
What do you do?
>Hand over Bagna to Lydie and deal with the thugs head on.
>Hand over Bagna to Lydie, nonchalantly eavesdrop on what’s happening. You don’t want to jump the gun.
>Valiantly walk away with all the stuff you have without paying. Then look for a policeman who can deal with this. It’s not your job to look cool in front of cute girls.
