>>5971295“That's the stupidest excuse I've ever heard of! Using defensive techniques is allowed!” Beerus shoots back, the Destroyers getting louder and louder as they rise off their podiums, getting into each other's faces and shouting. Yet, while the referee looks back and forth, Hit keeps his gaze fixed on you. So, you decide to back off your technique, reverting it back to the normal Energy Body as you shout. Loud enough for both Destroyers to hear you.
“What's the problem with my technique? You were doing the same thing!” you declare, both Beerus and Champa freezing mid-argument and looking down. “I can't hit you when you flee into that other dimension or whatever it is you've been doing, how you're making yourself untouchable. Just as you can't hit me through my armor. If my technique isn't allowed, then by definition neither is yours.”
“Heh, so you figured it out, huh?” he asks, actually pulling his hands back out of his pockets. “Interesting. Very well, I won't use my Tides of Time if you won't use that unbreakable armor barrier. But that doesn't mean I won't keep using my Time Skip.”
“And I'm not dropping my Energy Body completely.” you reply, leaving the technique active but not to Unmovable's level, retaking your fighting stance. “Now, show me what you've got.”
But Hit doesn't retake his stance, instead clenching his fists by his sides.
“HAAAAAAAA!!” he shouts, aura blazing up around him wildly as if he's going to transform. But, instead of changing, you feel his strength rise slightly, then his shout stops. But he starts looking down at his right hand, opening and closing it several times before looking back up to you. “Bring it.”
The assassin then retakes his fighting stance, you both staring each other down once more. You recovered quite a bit through your shielding, but he's no doubt rested up as well. Giving up your guaranteed protection from anything he's got is a small price to pay to keep him from doing that intangible technique again. Putting you both back on even-ish footing.
But what do you do now?
>Rush in and attack once more, go right back to laying on the pressure. You've no doubt recovered a lot more than he did, so you'll be able to take more damage than he will>Gesture for him to come at you this time, see if you can defend against his offense and land powerful counters>Leap into the air, dropping your Energy Body and unleashing your energy attacks. Force him onto defense while keeping him back>Gather your ki and unleash a Red Dawn, blasting him back and force him completely off the arena>Other(write in)
