You head toward the usual workshop. With a bit of time to burn, you figure you could build something else. Anything to try and shore up your lack of power. However when you arrive you find the shop barren. The doors have been barred shut and the windows were boarded up. You stare for a moment before tying to peek through the gaps in the windows. It was completely empty with not a single machine or workbench left inside. Your frown. The shop was almost always busy with players and that was only a few days ago. There was no way it could have gone under financially. Searching around the area didn't reveal any kind of notice or sign of what could have happened. The building was old but still serviceable so it couldn't have been an attack or accident. The guilds had no reason to run them out either. The lack of public crafting stations would only drive people away and thus ruining the economy and any potential recruits. You ponder the thought for a moment before moving on. It might be something to look into later but right now you had a time limit and you wanted to make the most of it.

The grapple gun was slightly more annoying to assemble than the igniter. At least that's how you tried to undersell the fact that it too you far longer to make than the igniter. At the size and shape of a regular lighter, all the pieces were far smaller than anything you're used to. Just trying to coil up all 50ft of wire into such a small space made you worry it would explode and take your eye out. The finished product was well worth it though. You pull the lid open and a small grapple hook the thickness of a ballpoint pen pops out, it's hooks snapping out, and locks in place, ready to fire. One of the sides of the "lighter" slides in slightly and clicks into place to act as the trigger for you to squeeze. You close the lid and everything slides back into place returning to it's regular shape. Because of how well things were cut, it was almost impossible to deduce what the device was from a distance. You modified your belt to be able to attach the gun to it and free up your hands as well as hide it as a belt buckle.
There was also a small but powerful magnet inside it, another feature that gave you a lot of trouble, which could allow you to attach the device to an object before or after firing it. You snap the device onto your belt, feeling pleased. This was going to open up a lot more mobility options now that you could no longer jump all over the place.

With that complete you head out to Valford's arena.
