>>5962729>>5962751I also have an idea. If we could lightly touch one of the chains not by touching the glass, but by moving our hand around the space where it appears to be, that implies the physical presence of anything that shows up in the glass. Given that the other prisoners are likely held in the same way and that they could present a physical threat, this could be exploited to manifest an object in the room. We could use a flat, reflective surface of our own to test this effect on a small object, then reflect the edge of the chasm to create a path across, with flat reflective surfaces carried by Valdor and "Ales" to support each other as they walk across. Knowing how the Warp works, it's the literal manifestation of Valdor's promise:
>“To walk the perilous realms, to brave the untrodden path, to light the darkened ways. That is our duty. You have performed well, Captain Ales, and I swear we will confront this together. You have my word as a servant of The Emperor.”Pic related. They both walk across the chasm, with the edge behind them. Once the other side of the chasm begins to appear, one of them redirects their mirror forward, creating an even surface from the combinations of opposite reflections. Once the edge behind disappears into the darkness, they both point their mirrors forward until they get across. This requires superhuman levels of coordination and precision, so it's a good thing both of them are superhuman.
